The free layer

Episode 1 of any series plays without an account, after an age confirmation. Episode 2 opens when you create a free Candy AI account, which asks for an email address and a password only. Two free episodes per series is the rule across the catalogue, and it applies equally to 12-token and 50-token series.

Tokens per episode

From episode 3, each instalment has a token price shown on the episode itself. Three price points exist in the catalogue.

• 12 tokens: the standard price, used by the large majority of series with original Candy AI characters.
• 30 tokens: used by many series in the Adult stars category, built on licensed digital twins of real performers.
• 50 tokens: the top price, reserved for a small number of Adult stars titles.

Full-series prices

Candy AI also shows a price for unlocking a whole series at once. In practice it corresponds to the paid episodes multiplied by the per-episode price, so a five-episode series at 12 tokens comes to 36 tokens for the three paid instalments, and a five-episode series at 30 tokens comes to 90. Each series page in this catalogue states the full-series figure so you do not have to calculate it. Tokens are bought in bundles on the platform, and Candy AI runs a sale from time to time; when one is on we flag it without quoting a price.

Premium subscription in USD

Premium is the subscription that removes the per-episode token cost for Candy Shorts and unlocks the paid features of the wider Candy AI platform. Candy AI prices it in US dollars and displays three plans.

• 12 months: 3.99 USD per month.
• 3 months: 8.99 USD per month.
• 1 month: 9.99 USD for the first month, then 13.99 USD per month.

Working out what a series really costs

A quick method: take the episode count, subtract the two free episodes, multiply by the token price. Then compare the result with the cost of a token bundle or a month of Premium. For a single short series, tokens are cheaper. If you expect to watch several series a month, or a long one, Premium wins quickly.

Before you pay

Watch both free episodes first; they are the same length and quality as the paid ones and show whether a series is for you. Check the episode count on the series page, since a growing series will cost more over time. And remember that Premium is billed in USD, so your bank may apply its own exchange rate and fees.
