A houseguest for one semester
The setup is simple. A couple agree to host an exchange student while she studies English abroad. Mica is shy on arrival, polite at dinner and careful around the flat. Over the five episodes it becomes clear that the language lessons are not the part of the stay she is most interested in, and that the boyfriend is the one she wants as her tutor. The girlfriend's presence in the next room is what gives the series its charge.
Mica Sarasola is presented on Candy AI as a 23-year-old club promoter and marketing student. Every character in Our Exchange Student is an adult aged 18 or over; the student label refers to university study.
Pairings and next picks
Because it is filed only under Brand new, this series does not sit in a themed category, but the new episodes page will show you what else arrived alongside it. In terms of premise, My Girlfriend's Sister Just Got Divorced shares the unwelcome-houseguest tension, while Our Host Is Riley Reid puts the partner upstairs instead of next door. Forgive Me, Father is the fourth title Candy lists as similar. All free openers across the site are gathered on the free episodes hub.
